Afro-Squad Exclusive Interview:
Starr,
NP: Would you consider it a full time job? Starr: No, modeling can be a risky business. I think it's safe to keep my career path going while I just model part time. NP: Do you have another job, and what is it? Starr: I work as an administrative receptionist at an ad agency. I am also going to school to pursue my degree in Management. And I'm no 'dumb blonde'...I was valedictorian of my last college. NP: When I look at your pictures, you seem taller than your listed height? How tall are you? Starr: I'm only 5 foot tall! I am lucky to be well proportioned. See, good things do come in small packages.
Starr: When we launched my site, it was kind of a 'test' to see if there would be any interest. We were amazed at the success. Therefore, we (my webslave and I) decided on something a little more classy. It's very cool...launching on Leap Day...make sure to check it out! NP: When did you first get involved in modeling? Starr: I was in a modeling school as a child, then didn't really do anything more with modeling until my late teens. The first job I can think of off-hand is that I was on the cover of my college's athletic catalog with two friends. Gratuitous cheerleader shot, of course. NP: Your
page like Afro-Squad is strictly "no nudes," would you ever do
anything Starr: Playboy is the only nudity I would ever consider doing. Actually, I have a photographer who should be sending them some of my pics shortly, so cross your fingers! NP: What do you think is your best feature? Starr: My smile NP: Is there any advice that you would like to give to the viewers of (this) page? Starr: Vote for me...he he....and sign (your) guestbook! He's a great guy! >smooch<
NP: You seem to be very curvaceous, have you always been "top heavy?" Starr: If you saw my mom you'd know the answer to that...she is about 3 times my breast size!
Starr: I'm really kind of 'winging it' right now. My favorite jobs are calendars and posters though. More of that kind of work would be great! NP: How did you get the name "Starr" Starr: When I was born, my dad liked the name Starr and my mom did not. SO my dad put it on my birth certificate as my name before my mom could get out of bed! He got the name from a 'bar maid' his friend knew. I also have a brother named Sky! (and no, my parents were NOT hippies!) NP: How did you get the nickname Rrollergirl' Starr: I used to work in a disco club as a shot girl on rollerskates (my skates have pom-pons and everything)....hence the name 'Rollergirl". (plus, ya gotta admit, Heather Graham is WAY cool). NP: She is
cool. Anyway, thanks for your time. Good luck in your
modeling.
